POP Costa Rica Opens New Office in San José
New office, new chapter. That was the feeling shared across the room we officially opened the doors of our new Costa Rica office in San José.
The launch brought together team members, local leaders, and senior leadership from across the business for a day of connection, inspiration, and celebration. More than the opening of a physical space, the occasion marked an important milestone in the evolution of Prose on Pixels’ borderless network, reinforcing Costa Rica’s growing role in delivering world-class content production for clients around the globe.
Throughout the day, employees gathered to hear from leadership, connect with colleagues, celebrate local culture, and reflect on what this new chapter means for the future.

A space built for collaboration
For many team members, the new office represents something much bigger than a workplace. It is a place where relationships can be strengthened, ideas can flow more freely, and creativity can thrive.
“Having a new office in Costa Rica will bring a new chapter for us,” said Nelson Saint Hilaire, Senior Project Manager. “Being together means we can share values and goals more easily than before.”
That sense of connection was echoed by Maria Laura Corrales, Lead Designer, who believes the office will create more opportunities for organic collaboration.
“Being able to see each other more often and share ideas not only while working on projects, but also during lunch and in the shared spaces the building offers will make it much easier for us to connect,” she said. “The new space allows creativity to flow and gives a renewed energy.”
For Anthony Araia, 2D Animation & Motion Designer, the benefits extend beyond day-to-day collaboration.
“It helps us create more training opportunities, share knowledge, and learn on the go from each other,” he explained.
The value of bringing people together in one place was also highlighted by Skarleth Jimenez, Talent Acquisition Partner.
“When different teams can come and work together in a single place, collaboration feels much more natural,” she said. “We can share ideas, solve challenges together, and build stronger connections.”
For Natalia Villalobos, Senior Video Producer, seeing colleagues and craft come together under one roof is a source of pride.
“Being able to share space and see people doing their work every day is really impressive,” she said. “It makes me feel proud of the work that we do.”
Looking ahead, Janis Vargas, Director of People Experience, sees the office as a catalyst for the next phase of growth.
“The future in this new office is going to be collaborative and agile,” she said. “It’s going to help bring us together as a team, help us face new challenges, and ultimately, the best is yet to come.”
A strategic investment in the future
The opening provided an opportunity for senior leaders to reflect on Costa Rica’s journey and the role the market plays within the broader POP ecosystem.
“This was our chance to invest in this team and show them that we’re here for the long term,” said Steve Netzley, Global CEO. “Our commitment to this office is multi-year. Our commitment to the team is even greater.”

For Jeffrey Chaverri, Director of Operations Costa Rica, the office symbolizes the next stage in a remarkable growth story.
“This new office is really a reflection of that journey,” he said. “To me, it represents a new chapter where Costa Rica is not simply a support location for the business, but a strategic part of how Prose on Pixels delivers and grows globally. The office is the milestone, but the people are the achievement.”
That people-first perspective was a recurring theme throughout the day.

“When I think about what makes this place special, it isn’t where it’s located,” added Netzley. “It’s the quality of the team, the talent, the curiosity, the ambition, and the energy. That’s what makes Costa Rica so important to the future of POP.”
Powering a borderless network
As POP continues to evolve its borderless operating model, Costa Rica has become an increasingly important hub for collaboration across markets.
“The new office is amazing because it brings everyone even closer together,” said Stefane Rosa, CEO US. “It gives the Costa Rica team a place to collaborate, share ideas, and continue building its culture. It also creates opportunities for deeper integration with our US teams and clients.”

Rosa emphasized that Costa Rica has been built as a genuine extension of the US operation from day one.
“We see the impact of the Costa Rica team in everything we deliver for our US clients and across our global business,” she said. “That integrated model allows us to offer clients a competitive solution at scale, manage high volumes, and still deliver beautifully crafted work.”
Chaverri believes the team’s impact is best measured not simply by growth, but by what that growth has enabled.
“We’ve built a really strong team in Costa Rica with a real sense of ownership and the ability to deliver complex projects for some of the most important clients globally,” he said.
Looking ahead
While the opening celebrated how far the team has come, conversations throughout the day were equally focused on what comes next.
“My biggest priority is to continue building Costa Rica into a world-class delivery hub, an extension of the US POP team, and a leading AI-enabled center of excellence supporting our borderless studio model,” said Chaverri.
Rosa shares that optimism.
“I’m super excited about what’s ahead,” she said. “Expanding our model and creating even stronger relationships between our US and Costa Rica teams.”

For Netzley, the future of Costa Rica extends beyond growth alone. He sees the market playing a critical role in shaping how content production evolves across the industry.
“When I think about Costa Rica and its potential over the next few years, I see an opportunity to drive change across POP,” he said. “Whether it’s developing new tools, improving processes, embracing new technologies, or creating innovations that deliver real value for clients, the possibilities are enormous.”
